Updating sms

When I send a text message to an Android user from my Mac on mac OS 10.14, the message goes through — the recipient receives it successfully. It eventually shows the red exclamation mark, as rhettf describes. However, I think it worked okay the first couple days after installing Mojave.

Moreover, when the recipient replies, I get the reply on my i Phone but I do not get the reply on my Mac. BTW, all was working just fine on High Sierra (10.13.6) and the i Phoneon i OS 12. Sign in / out of i Message Sign in / out of i Cloud Reset network Went as far as creating a new user (logged on with same i Cloud account) Nothing has worked... I only noticed today that SMS to Android is not working correctly from the computers. Same issue: Bug: Mac shows SMS texts fail to send, but they actually do get sent which you can see on your i Phone, and you don't see replies on your Mac but you do on your i Phone.

I made sure the "You can be reached at" on the macs and YOU CAN RECEIVE IMESSAGES TO AND REPLY FROM on the i Phone was set to both my mobile number and one single Apple ID that was the same on all devices (I have a couple aliases). (well not exactly, I forgot to turn Bluetooth on the laptop and it did not work. Now Watch works and the other weird problem I had was universal clipboard did not work. I'm experiencing the same issue since the public release. Did a fresh install to public release...i Messages work fine fine Apple Device to Apple Device. Called tech support, after an hour of doing the same, no resolution.i Message works / SMS/MMS does not.

While that at least gets it to display accurately after it syncs, I'm still having the exact same behavior between syncs described above. Talking to Apple tech support tonight about this issue, and the tech thinks it may be an issue with a carrier or carriers. Same here, and also I have tested that when i send an sms to a google voice number it is received, but the messages app on the mac shows as not sent...

Note - Toggling forwarding on i OS didn't help: Switching on and off text message forwarding to my Mac on i OS on my i Phone didn't have any helpful effect. I have opened a case with apple support five days ago and had it escalated to a second level of TS but thus far no response...

I tried all kinds of options and I’m getting process errors.

If I remove the Amp Script and just add a message it go to the person no problem.

I'm unable to send text messages to a specific contact, but can send messages to other contacts If there is only one contact to which you're unable to send any text messages the problem very likely lies with the network and not with your device.
